It's like our class... only it's real life!

I thought this might be of interest, check it out if you have a minute… I was on Daily Kos (major Dem blog, does require that you register) and came across a post for an event Ohio Democrats are organizing for June 9th to protest Bush’s visit because of the whole “CoinGate” soap-opera. Okay, here’s where it gets interesting, and relevant, they are using blogs to mobilize their supporters. The initial protesters have already done some of the busy-work that all events require like making signs and beginning to spread the word, but the rest of the efforts are by “word of mouth” or via interactive technology… exciting hugh?

If you keep reading the posting there is also a good example of “investigative blogging”. The person that posted the site has collected evidence from police reports and other sources and compiled them.
