Retail Politics!
As I was reading the posts from other classmates, El Jorge said it best that politics is no longer politics well at least when it comes to campaigning. I think now it should be called Retail Politics! The purpose of this entire class for each one of us is how are we going to sell our product; i.e. the candidiate.
I never quite looked at it before and for all these years I thought my 8 years of retail expeirence would have no benefit. Well thanks to El Jorge it came in pretty handy!
So as the power of technology increases so does the power of marketing. Marketing will always be there, but it always increases with technology. As a Computer Science graduate I can't wait to see how the computer will change politics!!! Now I can go back and tell all those people who made fun of my liberal side that see I did find some way to combine things!
