Text Messages Used in London Bombing

On July 7, 2005 the city of London was rocked to it's core. A total of 4 bomb blasts went off and the last death toll count was somewhere in the 40's. As the world tries to figure out how this could have happened a disturbing fact came up that we have been studying in our own class that we might not have really thought about or seemed distant to us. The news reports coming out now about how the terrorist coordinated thier bombings are now linked to the use of cell phone text messaging. All involved coordinated by text messges on when and where the exact detonation would be and let supporters know to stay away from the area. Once again the power of technology is felt, but in this manner it was the worst possible way.
