No comparison; Just contrast
The Salon article “It’s the Incompetence, Stupid,” offering first-hand insights into the staggering disorganization campaign, offers a striking contrast with the 527’s supporting Kerry, most notably America Coming Together.
While a bunch of college-aged interns stumbled around with too little information, direction and organization over at Kerry’s campaign, ACT’s volunteers were technologically connected and used that technology to match the organization and knowledge of the Bush campaign.
Unfortunately for Kerry, though, is that ACT could not mention his name due to FEC regulations.
Though 20/20 hindsight makes it easier to Monday morning quarter back the election, I can’t help but wonder if Kerry had taken better advantage of mobile technologies, narrow casting and organizational tools, could it have made a big enough difference in Ohio?
