Hi all! Being an international student in a politics program has been a challenge. I have realized how it is important to open our minds to understand other political positions. Each country around the world has its own reality, therefore politics are applied in different ways. I do believe the goal should be a strong democracy, which unfortunately it still hard to achieve in developing countries. The unfair distribution of wealth has created a weak democracy and citizens are not always able to participate in the political process. I invite you all to get acquainted with politics not only from the U.S, but from around the world. It will give you a more broader perspective of how politics shape a country. Feel free to participate with your comments. I will enjoy learning more about US politics and your own thoughts.
