Security

I think that online security should be a priority for people working on online campaigns. I would think that one of the huge problems with online fundraising is that people tend to be afraid to donate money.
Specially in countries where the Internet is a new tool for campaigning, people do not feel comfortable donating money online .

Since online campaigning is relatively new in some countries, there’s no universal need to have it in order to compete. Every major race in the United States needs to have a website, and citizens are accustomed to online commerce at this point. I’m not sure what online commerce is like in your country, but once it becomes an important part of the economy, campaigns will need to have a website because that’s what people expect. And then people will donate!
