Did you read the story about the wikitorials? In an experiment, the LA Times turned their editorial page into a wiki and allowed readers to edit the editorials.
The experiment failed and the Times took the wikitorials down. They blamed users for posting obscene materials and being unproductive. If wikis can't work on a large scale are the doomed?
Yeah, I did see that. I am not sure I would say they are doomed, but perhaps a true wiki would not work. I think one that is monitored could.
