It might be best to bring this up in class, but I thought I'd start on the blog... I'm still confused on what exactly you're expecting from us in our strategic plans for our internet campaign/website. A few of your comments have indicated more of "campaign plan" than a strategic plan... it may just be a difference in terminology and all, is there any way you can provide an outline or example for us. I guess I'm just looking for the skeleton of the assignment and its essential components. If you'd rather we could discuss this in class with everyone, whichever you think would be the most fruitful. Thanks!
Your strategic plan should describe how you will use the Interent to address these questions these questions.
Another way to think about it: when you implement an Internet strategy, you need to think through what you are trying to accomplish and why. It's foolish to simply throw something up there with no strategy or plan in mind (though many political campaigns and organizations do exactly that).
I'll bring some examples to class next week and we'll go over them.
Thanks!
