He's Bad, You Know It!

Stop the Press! In fact, stop the world! Michael Jackson has been found "not guilty!"

Now really, does that come as a big shock to anyone? No? OK, then why does the MSM insist on making it the biggest news of the year?
I was driving down I-95, listening to the radio, and it seemed as though the whole world stopped to hear the verdict. Not only that, but every news program insisted upon discussing the verdict for the rest of the day. In fact, tonight on Hannity and Colmes, 30 minutes were devoted to discussing the verdict while an equal thirty minutes were spent on an exclusive interview with Vice President Dick Cheney. It seems to me that the VP should be more news-worthy than Michael Jackson's latest scandal. If I want to know about that, I'll turn to Court TV or Entertainment Tonight.
Furthermore, cnn.com, foxnews.com, and msnbc.com all have the story and a huge picture related to it splashed on their home pages.
Sure, I'm interested in finding out if he was convicted or not, but I found that out this afternoon, and that was all I needed to know. So I thank you MSM for delivering the verdict, but now, please shut up!
